I tend to avoid answering “Why?”
It’s a fine question. I tell odd jokes. You might enjoy the fake signs, articles about Nazi comic books, and stories about ad agencies in space, but none of them quite make sense.
Within a project, it feels like giving away the game. I’m more likely to take away from your enjoyment by answering it. Explaining jokes goes one way.
But there is a big picture answer.
I did it to write this book. To say what I say here, the way I say it here. And by the last page, it makes sense.
This is why I started typing. This is why I kept typing.
